TD seeking buyer for CT's credit card business

CT Financial Services Inc., which is owned by Toronto Dominion Bank, has announced that it will sell its MasterCard credit card operations. The sale is designed to meet requirements imposed by the Canada's Competition Bureau for the approval of T-D's $7.8 billion acquisition of CT Financial.

Sask. to protect RRSPs in bankruptcy

Saskatchewan will implement legislation that will provide protection for registered retirement savings plans (RRSPs). The legislation will protect RRSPs from creditors when bankruptcy is declared.
