Kremlin's tax demands may finish off Yukos

OAO Yukos stated that continued pressure from Kremlin tax authorities to pay a 99-billion-ruble back-tax bill could drive the company into bankruptcy by the end of 2004. The warning came a day after a Moscow court upheld the tax claim, which alleges the company misused tax breaks in 2000.
