An indigenous community wants powers to seize Indonesian fishing raiders who are brandishing machets to prevent Australian authorities from boarding. The Maningrida rangers are desperately trying to keep the raiders off their seas as they are worried about them spreading diseases, but the government is doing nothing to help them.
