Vehicle sales tumble 8%; Big Three's share slips

Vehicle sales reports from Oakville, Ont.-based Ford Motor Company of Canada Ltd., DaimlerChrysler Canada Inc. and General Motors of Canada Ltd. reveal that vehicle sales in Canada fell by 8% in March 2001. The sales decline, which hit the passenger car sector especially hard, showed that sales fell to 139,697 vehicle in March.
