Maker of PC graphics names new president
Article Abstract:
Barry James Folsom is appointed the new president and chief executive officer for Radius Inc, replacing founder Michael D. Boich, who will continue as chairman. Radius, a manufacturer of high-quality monitors and personal computer graphics products, recently reported sales for the first quarter are down from a year ago, and that it may report a loss as a consequence. Boich says Radius plans to produce more equipment for IBM PC-compatible microcomputers to diversify its product line. Current Radius products are mostly used with Apple microcomputers. Folsom was previously president, chairman and CEO of an image processing software development company called Focus Systems, and has also held executive positions at Sun Microsystems and DEC.
