Insurance brokers, Marsh and McLennan Companies Inc., have fired their chief executive officer and suspended several other executives in an effort to manage the charges of corporate corruption brought by Eliot Spitzer. Other companies, like Salomon Brothers and Columbia/HCA Healthcare Corp. have managed to reorganize and survive through similar corruption scandals.
