Masonite executives hit road to fight for dealc

The Mississauga-based Masonite faced opposition after unveiling a $40.20-a-share bid in December 2003 from New York-based Kohlberg Kravis Roberts and Co. A group of investors representing about 16 per cent of the company's stock has come out against the offer claiming it is too low.
