New broker rules imminent

The Toronto Stock Exchange (TSE) plans to implement new rules for brokerages regarding supervision of traders in the fall of 2001. TSE officials say the new standards will help prevent cases like RT Capital Management Inc.'s stock price manipulation scandal.
