Article Abstract:
Nike Inc is facing the challenge of rebuilding its presence in hockey, following the failure of its futuristic-looking hockey skates introduced more than two years ago. The failed product introduction served as a company lesson on the danger of rushing new products to the market before fully straightening out all probable design problems. Nike is also coping with the departure of several executives as well as some of its top National Hockey League endorsers.
