Nortel wants bonuses back if officials' actions improper: Millions paid based on overstated profits

Nortel Networks Corp. announced that it would seek repayment of millions of dollars of bonus paid out to executives if the company determines the recipients acted improperly. The company handed out at least $125-million (U.S.) under two bonus plans, designed to reward executives and employees for steering the company back to profitability.
