The pressure to change libel law

The Supreme Court of Canada issued a ruling on Jul 20, 1995, upholding Canada's libel law. The ruling came in the case of Casey Hill against the Church of Scientology and attorney Morris Manning. Several media interests had filed intervenor arguments in the case.
