The article entitled 'Memories of War' in the May 6, 1995, issue of The Economist states that Canadians should feel guilty for having bombed Germany at night during World War II. The UK also bombed at night, but the article gives more support to the involvement of the UK and the US.

The politically correct insist that smoking is always addictive and that secondhand smoke is deadly. The antismoking movement has become a bit hysterical, insisting on banning smoking virtually everywhere.
