Osteology of the Middle Triassic pseudosuchain archosaur Arizonasaurus babbitti
Article Abstract:
Arizonasaurus babbitti is rediagnosed from a preserved partial skeleton from the early Middle Triassic Moenkopi Formation of northern Arizona, as it is important to the understanding of pseudosuchian relationships. The skeleton of Arizonasaurus is a 'Rosetta Stone' that places fragmentary taxa and more complete taxa into the ctenosauriscids potential group that share many pelvic apomorphics with Poposaurus, Sillosuchus and Chatterjeea.
