PC Docs' operating profit exceeds estimates

PC Docs Group International Inc., a software manufacturer based in Toronto, Canada, announced on May 13, 1998, the company's 10 cents per share in operating profit in the third quarter of 1998 exceeded analysts' estimates of seven cents per share in operating profit for the company. The company posted C$1.9 million in operating profit in the third quarter of 1998, ended Mar. 31, 1998, compared with C$380,000 in operating profit that PC Docs achieved in the third quarter of 1997. However, PC Docs suffered losses from recently purchased Fulcrum Technologies Inc.
