Vancouver, BC-based Yorkton Securities Inc. has fired its chief executive officer, Scott Paterson. Yorkton Securities, which has reached a settlement that would end a securities investigation by the Ontario Securities Commission, had made numerous investments in high-tech ventures in recent years.
