A poll taken shortly after the May 12-13, 1997, debates, found that the Bloc Quebec's support among decided voters slipped from 45% in Mar 1997, to 35.2%. Jean Charest's revitalized Progressive Conservative party appears to be the main beneficiary. Jacques Parizeau's new book also hurt the BQ.
