The company that operates Australia's Coast- watch aircraft is trying to persuade the federal government that, satellite above Australia's ocean could help track everything from Patagonian tooth fish pirates to people smuggling boats. Surveillance Australia believes the satellite would enable year-round monitoring to build a picture of poaching activity so that the Navy could be sent to the area at the right time.
