Pocklington threatens to move to U.S
Article Abstract:
Pocklington Financial Corp.'s former owner, Peter Pocklington, threatened to move to the US following a ruling by Justice Del Perras of the Alberta Court of Queen's Bench to allow KPMG Inc. to probe the financial records of the company and Hartford Securities Inc., both based in Edmonton, Alberta. Pocklington said he intends to appeal the ruling, but remains disappointed with the business environment in the area. The entrepreneur promised to meet his obligations to ATB and then move to the US, where he expects to have a friendlier reception.
