2001 was not the kind of year that brings to mind ideas of brotherly love, peace, and tolerance. There are groups of people whose banishment would make the world a better place in which to live, including people who use loud lawn machinery early in the morning, door-to-door solicitors, folks who design applications with irrelevant questions, retail sales associates who are mechanical in their approach to customer service, and high profile persons that use their platforms to criticize members of the elite.

Many Australian women who came of age during the feminist political movement and who were taught the benefits of natural childbirth are choosing traditional methods for giving birth to their own children. Reasons vary for their choices. Some women prefer hospitals. Other women have no alternative. Doctors state women are becoming more involved in childbirth decisions.

The popularity of rap and hip-hop music in the 21st century is analyzed that are musical forms which appeal to young people because a lot of the music has its roots in the rawest kind of life experiences. The need for authencity of such musical form in our cultured society is queried.
