President Bush began talked about democracy building and acknowledging that after the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. Events in Iraq were not kind to initial Bush administration predictions of either a quick campaign or an enthusiastic reception by Iraqis that would allow comprehensive political reform and infrastructure rebuilding.

Article Abstract:
The Bush administration is facing declining support on its Iraq War strategy even among Republicans in the changed political situation of a Democratic controlled Congress. The GOP members believe that a change of course is needed on Iraq, since the way the war is handled will decide the outcomes in elections for the White House.
