Little Net firm rocks TV giants
Article Abstract:
ICraveTV, a Toronto, Ontario-based start-up company that provides live network TV on the Internet, is being sued by some major TV companies and other firms in the entertainment industry. The plaintiffs argued that iCraveTV's service is tantamount to stealing intellectual property. However, experts say that the TV broadcasters' main concern with the case is that the possibility of airing programs on the Internet exposes the TV industry's way of doing business to serious problems.
