Vernon Jordan's supporters are using media leaks to absolve him of any criminal liability in the Monica Lewinsky scandal without fully supporting Pres Clinton. Special prosecutor Kenneth Starr may get more information on Lewinsky through his subpoena of Jocelyn Jolley, her former supervisor at the White House. Pres Clinton continues to get high approval ratings in the polls in spite of the scandal.

Pres Clinton's defenders have replied to Kathleen Willey's accusations that he made sexual advances to her by releasing notes and letters that she sent the president after the alleged incident.
