Sadr strikes
Article Abstract:
A murder warrant was out for the arrest of Moqtada al-Sadr and the US army had vowed to kill or capture him but no action is taken and the Shia leader has come out more powerful than before after a short hibernation period. Three and a half months after the elections the situation in Iraq is still hindered with the sectarian violence between the Sunnis and Shiites escalating and the Kurds wary of both and Sadr is waiting for a chance to come to power after the end of American involvement in Iraq.
