The Beaconsfield Gold mine, which faced production problems, survived even after it was demanded a repayment of 32 million dollars loan by its banker in June 2001. The shareholder's discontent came to an end in November 2003 when they realized that the Beaconsfield Gold mine was hitting record levels of production and the turnaround was remarkable.
