Telus makes hostile bid for Microcell

Telus Corp., launched a $ 1.1 billion hostile bid for Microcell Telecommunications Inc. in order to create Canada's largest mobile phone company. A Telus Microcell combination would result into 4.76 million customers ranking Telus Corp., just ahead of Bell MobilityEs 4.5 million.
