Corporate executives, investors, conservative Christians, labor unions and others not traditionally associated with environmentalism have joined the intensifying campaign to save the Earth. In the new environmental movement, a growing number of people are perceiving threats to the environment, and there is an increasing trend for using recycled and eco-friendly construction material, solar and wind power to supplement standard power sources.
