National Party senator and anti-abortion advocate, Julian McGauran, filed a complaint with the Medical Practitioners Board of Victoria against doctors of the Royal Women's Hospital for carrying out late-term abortion on a pregnant woman. The senator filed the complaint after receiving the medical files of the woman from Victorian coroner, Graeme Johnston.

A ticket to die

Australians are turning to death clinics that are situated in foreign countries like Zurich and Mexico as they are facing tightening of laws against assisted suicide or voluntary euthanasia. Terminally ill people are trying to convince Australians to support voluntary euthanasia so that they can die with dignity.

Abortion on trial
Article Abstract:
A 40-year-old woman forced the hospital staff to abort her well-advanced foetus, which suffered from the non-fatal abnormality of dwarfism, and she threatened to kill herself if the hospital refused to help her. The foetus was aborted and the case is before the court after four years of the incident.
