Words with aliens
Article Abstract:
Legacy Software's Mutanoid Word Challenge computer game is a Scrabble-like program that pits a 7-year old child or older with weird looking mutanoids. Words that are typed in by the player to score points are checked against a built-in 65,000-word dictionary. The Mutanoid Math Challenge presents simple equations instead of words. Both programs are DOS-based and sell for $49.95 each. Powersolutions for Business' Planmaker is a $129 program that automates the process of creating a business plan. A user supplies the data and the software organizes it into a professional presentation. Planmaker creates an Executive Summary and four preformatted spreadsheets: the Twelve-Month Proforma for financial projection, a Three-Year Projected Income Statement, the Cash Flow Projection and a Balance Sheet. Business Software Companion by Tom Badgett and Corey Sandler is a $22.95 guide to 14 popular applications.
