Air Canada's mainline unions boycotted a meeting called by the company with the unions and key financiers in an attempt to break an impasse over pensions. The impasse is certain to delay the insolvent company's exit from bankruptcy protection, scheduled for 30 April 2004 by two months.

Pilots expected to accept pact
