Videotron to explore options if merger blocked

The merger between Toronto, Ont.-based Rogers Communications Inc. and Groupe Videotron Ltee may be blocked by legal action. Videotron, which is led by chief executive officer Claude Chagnon, has been sued by Montreal, Que.-based Caisse de Depot et Placement du Quebec in an attempt to halt the proposed merger.
