William Resources to buy entertainment firm
Article Abstract:
William Resources Inc is making a foray into multi-media entertainment resorts development with a deal to acquire privately-owned MagiCorp Inc of Ontario, Canada. Terms of the deal involved William Resources buying all MagiCorp's outstanding shares from the five executives comprising MagiCorp's management. In exchange, the five-person management team will receive shares of William Resources. The deal is expected to be finalized in Oct 1999.

Ontario's economy that represents 4.2 percent of Canadian activity slowed sharply in mid-month of 2003 due to power outage followed by widespread conservation measures. The Canadian economy dropped to a 0.7-per-cent in August 2003, which is the biggest decline in more than a decade.
