Young and Rubicam Advertising in New York, NY has teamed up with 'Blue Dog' artist George Rodrigue to develop a new ad campaign for Xerox Corp.'s new line of inkjet printers. At a budget of more than $200 million, it is Xerox's most expensive campaign to date and hopes to attract young buyers with its colorful campaign and new lost-cost printer.

Tourism ads that started running after Sept. 11 are getting a midcourse correction

Based on new consumer research conducted by the Travel Industry Association of America, tourist-trade advertisers are changing their post-Sep. 11 campaigns to lure travelers to plan trips instead of assuring them of the safety of travel and destinations. The shift comes after research shows that many consumers ready to travel and plan trips. Industry advertisers include Marriott International, American Express, Hertz and Hilton. Ads marketing San Diego, CA have also been modifed by ad agency Di Zinno Thompson, capitalizing on the city's 'no-hassle, regenerative environment.'
