YBM cleared to plead guilty to charges

YBM Magnex International Inc's receiver, Ernst & Young Inc, has been permitted by an Alberta court to plead guilty in behalf of the beleaquered company accused of committing several financial crimes. Judge Marina Paperny of the Alberta Court of Queen's Bench said she was convinced by the arguments presented by the receiver for Pennsylvania, PA-based magnet maker YBM. The court's decision is expected to pave the way for the sale of YBM's assets.
