AT&T ready to unload Rogers Wireless stake

US telecom giant, AT&T Wireless Services Inc. is planning to sell its one-third stake in Rogers Wireless Communications Inc., one of Canada's biggest cell-phone firms. The Rogers Wireless stake closed at $1.76-billion on 29 April 2004 but decreased to $1.69-billion by the end of the day after Rogers Wireless stock fell by $1.30 to close at $34.90 on the Toronto stock exchange.
