Article Abstract:
Product formulators in the US can try to examine the traits of the most popular botanicals at a time when plant and botanical extracts are becoming more popular. The most popular extracts exhibited the highest number of applications despite attempts to eliminate obsolete formulations amidst increased utilization of ingredients. Aloe gel, Chamomile extract, and aloe extract are the three most popular extracts in the first table. Acacia, agrimony extract and Alchemilla vulgaris extract are the three most popular extracts in the second table.

The modern perfumer is required to possess creative ability in order to formulate pleasant fragrances, as well as have a good understanding of physical and chemical characteristics of the of both fragrance and product components. Fragrance influences the consumer's expectations of the product. Today, perfumers are required to develop fragrances for products of various pHs and applications.
