An overview of the process of substantiating claims made regarding antiaging products is presented. It is advisable to incorporate claims-support research, along with formulation guidance and proof of concept, into the product-development process' early stages. It is often most cost-effective and efficient to use multi-instrumental clinical evaluations that incorporate various evaluative tools.
