A Clinton round or a Pacific free trade area?
Article Abstract:
The inactivity of G-7 the past decade coupled with Pres Bill Clinton's strong political support indicates that the revitalization of the world economy is dependent on the resuscitation of US economy. If the Clinton administration can implement its domestic economic program and gain the cooperation of G-7 members, it can restore the global trading system.
