A new world order?
Article Abstract:
One of President Bush's objectives during the preparations for the Persian Gulf War was the establishment of a new world order. Bush has continued to use this philosophy in other issues related to international affairs. The objective of a new world order entails cooperating with other countries to eliminate aggression and achieve stability and peace. In reality, the new world order is characterized by inertia, disorder and problems.

New constraints for US foreign policy
Article Abstract:
The Republican Party's success in the 1994 congressional elections is likely to hinder Democratic Pres. Bill Clinton's foreign policy initiatives. This rift is already evident as Republican incumbents have raised strong criticism against the Executives's policy toward restoration of democracy in Haiti and plans to aid Mexico's ailing economy, among other issues.
