Aleksandr Lebed and Russian foreign policy
Article Abstract:
Russian presidential candidate General Aleksandr Lebed aims to restore Russia's former stability and strength. He believes that counter-moves such as a peace offensive against the aggressive expansionism of NATO and the US should be undertaken. He is convinced that the country should be protected against domestic and foreign capitalists who intend to steal the state's resources and illegally import guns and narcotics. He also intends to protect Russia from cultural and religious assault from western countries.
