Barack Obama, the first African-American elected president of Harvard's distinguished law journal the 'Harvard Law Review,' feels that there is no short term solution for the racial problems in United states. Obama, son of a black father and white mother, has described his life and the influence of multicultural blood relation. Obama has also authored a book, 'Dreams From My Father: A Story of Race and Inheritance.'

Crossroad blues: black student activism lives, despite obstacles

Paul Rogat Loeb feels that black students have a problem with racism and wants them to get involved to take a stand and have a voice without staking humanity. He wants students to be careful and dynamic in their approach in learning and how to develop association without surrendering. He expresses happiness that white people have also started looking into the problems of African-American students.

Jawanza Kunjufu has been inspiring black people to transform and liberate their lives through his philosophy, speech and personal example. He believes that reformation of black people is a personal revolution that begins at home, in the school and at job. Love and goodness is the foundation of this change and the war has to be waged in the minds of the people and not on the streets.
