Article Abstract:
An analysis is presented on political bipartisanship, or compromise, and win-win policy-making, discussed within the framework of forest management. A win-win solution is presented that answers the foremost concerns of those who advocate profits for the lumber industry and those who advocate recreational uses; that is, to spend down the national debt, so that resource exploitation is not required.
