Capitalism's weakness
Article Abstract:
The end of the Cold War has given US officials time to reassess its position on social services, the global economy and the weaknesses of capitalism. During the days of the Cold War, much external and internal debts were incurred out of a national paranoia that the Communists would take over the world. Post-Cold War figures indicate the thousands of lives wasted and the missed opportunities for sustainable development. UN officials and other world leaders should focus their energies in modifying market systems to further the development of policies that will ensure social goods, health care and education for all.
