Climate change: Reaching too far?
Article Abstract:
The British Prime Minister Tony Blair who was working hard to have an effective global response by forcing government to cut UK carbon dioxide emissions 20% below 1990 by 2010, found that his efforts was in vain. As expected, climate change is a challenge and reaching it is far more difficult with higher economic growth, and rising natural gas prices, forcing electricity producers to burn dirtier coal instead. With this, leaders of some of the world's largest companies had agreed for a global policy framework to drive the climate effort.
