Article Abstract:
Libya's political system is undergoing challenges as the country tries to resolve its socio-economic problems while maintaining its strict security desired by leader Muammar Qadhafi. Libya's international isolation is diminishing, and Qadhafi recognizes the need to improve the petroleum industry to aid the country's development. The political structure changes provide no real change.

Deal to be done: India and the United States
Article Abstract:
President George Bush in a summit proposed a strategy 'reciprocal measures' that states help with India's civilian space programme in exchange for implementing restrictions aimed at curbing nuclear proliferation. Further reports states that Delhi must comply with strict export controls on sensitive military items in order to benefit form the US-India strategic partnership.
