Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty: signatories and ratifiers
Article Abstract:
Forty of the 44 nuclear-capable nations have signed the Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty, and 30 have ratified it. The Treaty will not enter into force until all 44 have both signed and ratified; a grand total of 160 nations have signed, and 69 in all have ratified. A table with nation, signing date, and ratification date, with the key 44 nations highlighted, is provided.

Russian Duma approves test ban treaty
Article Abstract:
The Russian Duma approved the Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty by an overwhelming majority in Apr 2000, the third nuclear state to approve the treaty. The US Senate rejected the treaty in Oct 1999, and China has not indicated whether it will approve the treaty.
