The war in Iraq has brought to the fore the simmering discontent in individuals on either side of the Atlantic as there are many in Europe who are rabidly anti-American just as many Americans are anti-Europeans. The unfortunate part is that both sides despite fighting a common enemy in the form of global terrorism are involved in useless bickering that will only help the enemies who see Europe and America as two parts of the same coin.
