Article Abstract:
The macabre mayhem triggered in August 2004, three months after the transfer of sovereignty to an Iraqi interim government, by the Hawza Movement led by the young poses radical cleric Muqtada al-Sadr is posed as a threat. Sadr is now under tremendous pressure from various sections within his movement, which may split as it did in April 2003 after the assassination of Majeed Khoi.

Military action: Legal or not?
Article Abstract:
United States and some other states still suspect Iran of having a secret nuclear weapon program even after Iran's temporary suspension of all uranium enrichment and reprocessing activities. The implications of the legal issues surrounding possible action against Iran, either by the international community or by the states unilaterally are discussed.
