Article Abstract:
The new car models for 1993 feature state-of-the-art technology that only a competitive industry can develop. For General Motors, a slight modification of its offerings has produced top-of-the-line car designs. Technical refinement that resulted in electronically controlled transmission and overhead-cam V-6 engines defines Ford Motor Co's latest car editions. For Crysler, new integrated designs and precision engineering for its LH series will surely arrest consumer attention. Nissan's new limited Edition 240 SX SE with powerfulmotors would certainly not be so limited in the days to come while Toyota's unlimited editions will surely satisfy every motorist's needs.

Debating the future in prime time
Article Abstract:
The 1992 US presidential race may as well be a case of history repeating itself. Just as Franklin Roosevelt scrutinized Herbert Hoover's economic policy during the period of the Great Depression, Arkansas Democrat Bill Clinton stresses the need for a concrete economic policy that will combat the impact of recession in the country. Thus, Pres George Bush is being severely criticized for his failure in managing the economy. However, thebasic question that has been in the minds of many Afro-American voters is whether Clinton will be as committed as Roosevelt in ameliorating the living conditions and promoting the rights of blacks.

Clinton sweeps out of the south
Article Abstract:
The unprecedented success ofthe Bill Clinton-Al Gore tandem in the southern states primaries can be attributed to the Democrats' innovative approach in campaigning. Their emphasison the economic decline in the country has won the approval of a discontented majority. In states where budget cuts have been severe, the Republican ticket has been overwhelmingly rejected. In Congress, more Afro-American representatives have joined the Democrats. Presidential aspirant Ross Perot, onthe other hand, has lagged behind in the race.
