Organisational change in Western European environmental groups: a framework for analysis
Article Abstract:
A number of organizational models give a valuable insight into the organizational changes that have taken place among environmental groups in Western Europe since the 1980s. It has been possible through these models to develop a conceptual framework to explain the detailed organizational changes that have occurred since environmentalism became a significant social movement. This approach allows the problem of movement professionalization to be separated from related, but independent matters, such as the choice of the action repertoire.
