The war on terrorism has lead many to fear that the United States will put the African economic agenda on the back burner during the G8 summit scheduled to be held in Georgia. The G8 has always worked with governments in Africa to promote prosperity in the region but with terrorist cells having penetrated many countries in the region, there is a compelling need to ensure economic growth.

Darfur and the international criminal court: Grave crimes
Article Abstract:
The atrocities in Darfur, Sudan, have not completely stopped as the government has taken inadequate efforts to hold those responsible. Prosecution of those responsible will make a real difference, but with the Sudanese government's unwillingness to act, the International Criminal Court can be the answer to the problem.
